A local and global expert.
After managing a major television production with a 100+ person crew on crabbing vessels in the Bering Sea, managing and negotiating the best deal on your home is a piece of cake!
Mel was born and raised in New England, but the bug to travel and work all over the world bit her early. She spent years traveling the United States, Canada, and Europe as an Olympic Development and semi-professional soccer player before settling into a career as an award-winning film producer, writer, and director in Los Angeles. In her early years, Mel grew up on work sites with her grandfathers construction company and later spent more than a decade owning her own successful small business in Boston and Bethesda before transitioning to real estate.
Although Mel represents buyers and sellers in the Metro Washington DC area, her focus is in Bethesda, Potomac, and greater Montgomery County, Maryland, Mel has 20+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, negotiation, and media production.
Mel lives in Bethesda with her partner, two kids, and an older french bulldog, named Grace Kelly. She's an avid tennis player and spends her spare time working on her novels and scripts through the Writing Center of Bethesda, woodworking, painting, and home improvement. Mel prides herself on her local real estate knowledge and is a resource for those who love to talk about architecture, home development, and the market.
