Wendy is a long time LGBT Ally. Before becoming a real estate broker, she worked for more than five years in a gay owned establishment here in town, and is currently involved in a business venture with two married male partners that are also close friends. She is well versed in the LGBT culture of the Champaign-Urbana area.
After completing her schooling, she worked in several capacities on campus. She worked from athletics to the Illinois MBA program where she was involved in admissions, conference coordination, and student recruitment. She also worked in the Housing Information Office, which oversees 8,800 residence hall residents. More recently, she was part of the graduate admissions and recruiting team with the Department of Bio-engineering. Wendy has been working for the University of Illinois for nearly 17 years before joining Joel Ward Homes full-time in the fall of 2014.
Wendy grew up as a daughter of an Air Force Officer. While being part of a military family she lived in Hawaii, California, and Texas before arriving in the Champaign area. She enjoys golf, traveling, HGTV, stock market, and spending time with her family and dog, Madison.
In March 2007, Wendy completed the requirements for the salesperson license and joined the Champaign County Association of Realtors. She is eager and excited about the prospects of a successful real estate and investment career and looks forward to helping buyers and sellers alike in their real estate and property acquisition pursuits both locally and around the world.

Wendy has lived in the Champaign area since beginning her college career in 1990. She has a B.S. degree in Kinesiology, Ed.M in Higher Education Administration, and recently earned her M.B.A. from the University of Illinois. In addition to Wendy's academic successes, she earned an athletic scholarship and played collegiate golf for the University of Illinois.
