She met her business partner (and husband) Scott when she was in the 2017 Leadership Academy . They currently reside in Fort Pierce with their four hairless Sphynx cats, one "regular" furry cat and a Dachshund (who doesn't know he isn't a cat). Laura also serves on the Board of Directions for The Sanctuary of the Treasure Coast, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment to inspire LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies.
