Issaquah is a small city located about 20 miles from Seattle, Washington. This small city is home to around 30,000 people, although until recently, its population was fairly small. The city was ranked as the second fastest growing city in the state: in 2000, there were only a little over 11,000 people living in Issaquah.
A number of LGBT people moved into Issaquah during the 2000s, and many have settled in the area called Issaquah Highlands. This area is fairly new. It began in 1999, and construction continued until 2009. However, the many new homes, condos, and townhouses are beautiful and modern.
Condos in Issaquah Highlands range from $175,000 to around $685,000. Single-family homes start at $245,000 for a small house and range up to $1.4 million for a larger home.
