A suburb of Denver, Westminster is none-the-less the seventh most populous city in Colorado. Residents live their lives with a gorgeous backdrop of the Rocky Mountains framing everything, making it easy to see why Money magazine named the city as one of the top 25 places to live in the US in 2006. While it’s home to over 106,000 people, Westminster has a more relaxed feeling to it than Denver, leading many to live in this suburb.
While there are a few LGBT bars in Westminster, most people head to Denver when looking for a gay ghetto. That doesn’t mean Westminster isn’t a great place for LGBT individuals and families.
The city is fairly diverse and welcoming, so you’re sure to find a great home here. Single family homes start at around $160,000 and range up to $2.7 million. Condos range from $148,000 to $570,000.
