Buying a HomeA 60-year-old man is on a crusade to save his town of Carpentersville, Ill., from foreclosure blight. According to the immediate edge blog, Tom Roeser has invested about $10 million in buying 193 foreclosed homes in his town and has refurbished the properties to either sell or rent them at a discount to local residents.
