Mortgage rates hit all-time lows (again)
Mortgage LoanFixed-rate mortgages hit new all-time lows for the third-straight week as the 30-year FRM submerged below 3.80% following declining long-term Treasury bond yields. The Freddie Mac survey showed the 30-year FRM averaged 3.79% for the week ending Thursday — the lowest rate ever recorded — inching down from the prior week’s record average of 3.83%.
