AIG Frustrates Mortgage Refinancing Plan
Mortgage LoanObama administration officials and lawmakers say AIG’s mortgage insurer is hampering efforts to refinance government-insured mortgages by refusing to automatically waive its right to go after lenders for loans that sour.
